China Town

This is an important place in Singapore where you can see the chinese culture,  buildings based on chinese architecture and majority of chinese people. If you are interested on chinese foods, you can visit Chinatown Food Street to enjoy them. Besides the food items you will find a lot of shops for cloths, crafts and also antiques.

The Club Street in this area is known for trendy wine bars. .Pagoda street, Smith Street and Temple Street are some other popular streets here. You will get nice experience if you visit here after 5 pm. After 9 pm most of the shops will be closed.

Clarke Quay

Clarke Quay is noted for the good enjoyment of night life. Here there are a lot of nightclubs, bars and pub to spend the nights joyfully. Since it lies on the bank of Singapore river, the reflection of colorful lights in buildings add more beauty to this wonderful place. Besides entertainment you can enjoy magnificent view of architecture and also make a visit to the monuments. 

The other two Quays of the country are namely Robertson Quay and Boat Quay. In early years boat quay was remained as trading center of the country. One should not avoid these quays to enjoy night life.

Gardens By The Bay

Of course it's breathtaking place of the country with its wonderful architecture and green plants. You will love both indoor and outdoor gardens. Here, you will also see wonderful indoor waterfalls which can make the surrounding atmosphere so cool.

The best time to visit here is late afternoon so that you will be able to enjoy the beauty both in sun light and electric lights. The entry fee slightly different from each premises of the garden.

Little India

As the name implies it is where one can feel as if he or she lives in India. It is located on the eastern side of Singapore river. It is said to be the  place where people from India find budget hotels and restaurants. There are many shops providing traditional Indian things like gold jwelery, silk clothes and beautiful flower garland.

Sentosa

The small island of Sentosa  lies just off the southern coast of Singapore. The island is so peaceful and provided with calm beaches, rainforest, beautiful resorts and theme parks.

The bus fare per head is 3 dollars and it will take about 20 minutes to reach the island. December to May is the perfect time to visit the island. The tourists can visit between 9 am and 10 pm. If you have already booked  rooms in the hotels of the island, you can stay there during night times. 

Lake of Dreams

This is another piece of landmark lies at the central part of Sentosa island. There are many activities to involve in.

Fountains with different colors of light can give great experience to the visitors.The popular Universal Studios is also located in this Sentosa island.

Chijmes

It is located in Victoria street of the city and famous for night life and good dining. In the early period of 19th century it had been the home for Catholic convent and today it has emerged as shopping and commercial center. This area is also noted for houses built in different architectural styles. Visitors can visit here from 9 30 am to 10 30 pm.

Esplanade

The popular old park named Esplanade is provided with many shops, hotels and entertainments for the visitors. Since 1970 this park had been in the development and from the year 2002 it began to attract thousands of people. During festival time one can enjoy many dance and musical programmes. Every day information counter will get opened from noon to 9 30 pm.

Merilon Park

Merilon Park reveals the identity of the country with half lion and half fish bodies. The bottom part of fish tells about the fishing industry in the past time and upper part made of Lion stands for the name of the country. It was built by the local craftsman named Lim Nang Seng and opened by the then PM Prime Minister Lee Kuan Yew. The icon was initially placed at the mouth of Singapore River and later it was moved to bay area that is nearby Merilon park.

With its great total height of 165 m from ground level one can enjoy the panaromic view of city during night and day times. It was opened in the year 2008 and from that period tourism greatly developed in the country .

Singapore zoo is the home for more than 4,200 variety of animals. This is the world biggest rain forest zoo. The visitors can also involve in feeding of animals. The entry ticket costs 48 SGD.There is also a kid's zoo where children can view smaller animals like rabbit, cats and so on.

River Wonder can be enjoyed after visiting the zoo. If you are excited on safe watching of dangerous crocodiles, cabypara, panda bear, variety of fishes then go for this place.

Night Safari

Night Safari is the world's first nocturnal wildlife park which shelters about 900 species of animals. It is the extended part of Singapore and you may need about 5 hours to completely explore the animals.

Located within Mandai Wildlife Reserve, Night Safari is home to over 900 animals from approximately 100 species, of which almost 41 per cent are threatened.
